Easy arrival, paved access, warm autumn — and narrow airspace. Both halves are the product.
Almaty is the region's most convenient serious flying and its most constrained. That trade is the whole brief: if you want genuinely empty sky, the right answer is Kyrgyzstan and we will say so. If you want to land at 09:00 on a Sunday, be at launch by 11:00 and be back in a real city for dinner, with a hospital within 40 minutes the whole time, this is the better base.
What decides whether a trip works here
Airspace, first. Everything else in the region puts retrieval first; here the corridors and the airport approach come before that, and an operator who does not brief them properly is a liability rather than a service. Then retrieval, then the guide's own flying, then radio and tracking, then the morning weather call.
What we sell
A seven-day XC week based in Almaty. The twelve-day two-country trip across the same range into Kyrgyzstan — the itinerary that exists because we run the ground on both sides of the border, and the strongest reason to book this region through one operator rather than two. And retrieval by the day for pilots arranging their own trip.

Rating, hours, personal best, last SIV, XContest profile. The retrieval zone and the task boundaries we offer depend on the answers.

That is roughly how many Kazakh pilots score in the national XC league in a season. It is a small, serious community that flies this range all year and knows things we do not, and where a local pilot's route knowledge beats ours we say so and use theirs.
